The Deutschlandticket costs €63 per month since January 2025. If you no longer need it, you can cancel by the 10th of a month for the cancellation to take effect at month-end. If you miss the deadline, the subscription only ends at the end of the following month.
The 3 Steps to Cancel:
- Access your account: Sign in to your provider (e.g. DB Navigator, Deutschlandticket app) and go to your subscription settings.
- Initiate cancellation: Select the "Cancel subscription" option, review your details, and submit the cancellation.
- Check confirmation: Verify the cancellation confirmation (email or app) and keep it safe.
Important: Cancel in time to avoid unnecessary payments. Your ticket remains valid until the end of the month if you cancel on time.
Alternative: Pause Instead of Cancel
With TicketPlus+, you have the option to simply pause your subscription instead of canceling. This preserves your account data for a quick restart. Pausing is possible up to 24 hours before month-end.
